Track 16: The Ideal Team and Team Player in the Workplace
Rate the morale and success of your team
• I trust the overall direction of leadership.
• When we have a problem we go to the appropriate source to resolve the issue.
• My supervisor/manager is accessible and aware when a problem occurs.
• When we have a disagreement on the team we handle it respectfully and quickly.
• We all agree that winning success of our team is about all of us not just a vocal few.
• I look forward to going to work the higher % of time.
• I rarely doubt that my team member has my back no matter what occurs.
• Each individual team player clearly knows the specifics of their roles and position.
• No ongoing poor behavior is allowed to continue that negatively impacts the rest of the team.
• When the supervisor IS the major problem the leadership have a way of addressing it.
If you can say yes to 7 out of 10 of these statements you have a strong team foundation. If not, team training, changes or addressing the areas that are keeping the team from being all 10 should be discussed among all the team and solutions should be developed.
