Track 19: Time Management or Self-Management in the Workplace
Are you managing time and self? If any of these situations are happening on a continual basis, you might want to make a change so that your time will be better managed.
• When someone that is talkative interrupts you again, you allow it to happen and inwardly grow frustrated.
• When you are bored and decide to engage with a conversation and it takes you away for longer than expected.
• If you have perfectionistic tendencies and re-read the email, text, letter, or report over and over again.
• If you tend towards jumping from one task to another and are easily distracted.
• If you have to answer your cell phone or respond to an email immediately and cannot disconnect from the current conversation.
• If you spend much of your time helping a co-worker solve their problems when they should be solving them themselves.
